Present fatherhood
Love expressed through consistency, attention and repair.
A Sproduction Studios Motion Picture
After loss upends the life he thought he understood, a devoted father learns that raising his children alone does not mean facing the future alone.
The story
When an unexpected loss leaves a devoted father solely responsible for his children, everyday routines become acts of courage.
Pressure builds at work and at home as he confronts grief, pride and the fear that love alone may not be enough. Determined to carry the weight by himself, he begins to discover that fierce independence can become isolation.
As the family adjusts to a life none of them planned, father and children begin building something new: a home shaped by presence, forgiveness and the daily choice to stay connected.
“A story about the quiet courage of showing up—one day, one choice and one family at a time.”

Strength is not carrying everything alone.
Themes & audience
Single Dad is an emotionally grounded family drama built around the ordinary choices that hold a family together.
Love expressed through consistency, attention and repair.
The uneven process of rebuilding family life after disruption.
Asking for help without surrendering dignity or responsibility.
The people and institutions that help families remain whole.

Creative intent
The film looks closely at the small, unseen work of fatherhood: showing up while exhausted, choosing patience when fear is louder and learning to apologize without losing authority.
Its visual language favors naturalistic light, intimate framing and lived-in domestic spaces. Performance remains at the center of every frame, allowing silence, routine and imperfect connection to carry as much meaning as dialogue.
